A bridge connecting the ancestral wisdom of the Andes to your conscious lifestyle; the talent of Peruvian farmers and artisans to your quest for authenticity; and most importantly, a bridge that transforms every purchase into a second chance for cats rescued from the streets of Cusco.

Our Story: How Was Qosqo Michi Born?

We were born in the heart of the world’s navel, Cusco, Peru, from a dual passion: a deep respect for the cultural heritage and biodiversity of our Andes and Amazon, and an unconditional love for the “michis” (cats) in situations of abandonment. Qosqo Michi didn’t start as a business plan, but as a heartfelt calling to be a bridge.

We saw the incredible richness of our Pachamama (Mother Earth): superfoods that nourish, medicinal plants that heal, and noble fibers that provide warmth. We felt the need to revive the ancient qolqas and tambos—those storehouses and meeting points where the best of the harvest was preserved. Thus, we conceived Qosqo Michi as a modern qolqa, a space to promote conscious nutrition and fair trade with the true guardians of these treasures: our farmers and artisans.

At the same time, the growing number of homeless cats on the streets of Cusco moved us to action. We didn’t want to choose between one cause and the other. We decided to unite them.

Thus, Qosqo Michi was born—an ecosystem where conscious commerce directly funds active compassion. We are an Ayllu, an extended family, and we invite you to be part of it.

Our Mission:

To revalue the natural and cultural wealth of Peru by offering authentic products that generate a triple positive impact: WELLNESS for our customers through conscious food and cosmetics; sustainable DEVELOPMENT for our farmer and artisan communities through fair trade; and a SECOND CHANCE at life for the rescued cats of Cusco through our shelter.

Vision To be the benchmark for conscious, purpose-driven commerce in Peru, consolidating a global Ayllu where every product is a cultural bridge, every purchase is an act of reciprocity (Ayni), and every customer is an active part of a virtuous circle that proves a business model based on love (Munay) and dignified labor (Llank’ay) is the future.

Munay (Unconditional Love)	This is the original spark and the heart of our cause. The love for our culture, our land, and the compassion for the most vulnerable beings (the kittens) is the engine that drives our every action.
Yachay (Ancestral Wisdom)	With an ignited heart, we honor knowledge. We revalue the ancestral wisdom of Andean superfoods, Amazonian botanicals, and the textile techniques that have been passed down through generations.
Llank’ay (Dignified Labor)	Love and knowledge materialize into action. We honor the dignified labor of farmers and artisans from our communities, ensuring fair trade that values their effort, time, and talent.
Ayni (Sacred Reciprocity)	We believe in the sacred balance of giving and receiving. By choosing us, you nourish your body and soul with authentic products, and in return, your purchase supports communities and gives a second chance to our rescued kittens.
Ayllu (The Extended Community)	This is the culmination of the four previous pillars. We cease to be individuals to become a great family: a community that includes our producers, artisans, customers, and the little animals we care for. We invite you to be part of our Ayllu!
